for the speed/power predictions in calm water and head seas (two sea states) we require your input regarding the environmental conditions. Which sea states shall be taken into account for the predictions? Could you please advise either the amplitude and the period of the sea states, or the sea area and the sea states (and/or the wind forces according to Beaufort scale). Typical conditions are:
1) Sea state 4 / Bft. 5: Hsig = 1.88 m, Tp = 8.8 s
2) Sea state 6 / Bft. 8: Hsig = 5.00 m, Tp = 12.4 s |
