Freeing ports
Freeing ports to be arranged on main deck as indicated on the General Arrangement Plan and
in accordance with Flag State and Class requirements. Freeing ports also to be arranged on Bdeck.
All to be hinged type and be fitted with heating devices as per applicable regulations.
The freeing ports to be well balanced and fitted with stainless steel bolts and bronze bushings
with grease nipples. The freeing ports to be easy dismantled for maintenance purposes.

我觉得原文的写法有问题，如果把freeing port 改成porthole（舷窗），原文的意思就符合逻辑了，也符合舷窗的特点。猜测而已。
