船东想取消焚烧炉，然后垃圾打包，可行吗？

尽管我对MARPOL AIR不熟悉，但我还是不明白，焚烧炉跟垃圾产生什么关系。是的一些垃圾是可以放到焚烧炉里，但焚烧炉不是专门烧垃圾的，而且一些含有重金属、塑料的垃圾也不能烧。

焚烧炉要不要，看船旗国怎么说，The Administration may allow any fitting, material, appliance or apparatus to be fitted in a ship as an alternative to that required by this Annex if such fitting, material, appliance or apparatus is at least as effective as that required by this Annex.

(4). Shipboard incineration of the following substances shall be prohibited:

(a). Annex I, II and III cargo residues of this convention and related contaminated packing materials.

(b). polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs);

(c). garbage, as defined in Annex V of the present Convention, containing more than traces of heavy metals; and

(d). refined petroleum products containing halogen compounds.

垃圾打包是楚布产生垃圾外最环保的办法,所以不装焚烧炉不仅可行,还可敬,只要不是把垃圾直接仍海里就好
