the purpose of a bridge navigational watch alarm system is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. the system monitors the awareness of the officer of the watch(OOW) and automatically alerts the master or another qualified officer of the watch if for any reason the OOW becomes incapable of performing the OOW`s duties. this purpose is achieved by a series of indications and alarms to alert first the OOW and , if he is not responding,then to alert the master or another qualified OOW. addtionaly, the BNWAS may provide the OOW with a means of calling for immediate assistance if required. the BNWAS should be operational whenever the ships heading or track control system is engaged,unless inhibited by master

和机舱值班报警的功能是一样的，就是用来管制值班的桥楼的驾驶人员的。。。

我做个是：桥楼航行值班报警系统
在高级船员间均需安装一个值班报警板，驾驶室也有好几个复位按钮，和机舱值班报警的性质差不多

桥楼值守报警系统对于一人桥楼是必需的，对于没特别要求的船舶，仅适用于2011年1.1后的新造船才是强制要求。
