对GANGWAY的理解

在SOLAS中，有这么一句：
~~~aft gangway if situated 3within 4m of the gangway and located not less than 10m measured horizontally from the neared air intake`~~~ (see solas ii-2/4.5.3.4.1.3)
该句中，GANGWAY一词是步桥的意思，请问这个步桥是什么意思？
谁能提供照片？

我想是舷梯的意思
很多情况下,船上习惯称舷梯登船口为GANGWY
不知道具体对不对

舷梯是ACCOMMODATION LADDER是用来给领航员登船用的
GANGWAY就是登船梯（也有叫登船跳板的）是船靠岸后上下船用的通道

此处原意应为步桥，想象当是如同油船主甲板上的人行步桥。

船上所说的gangway一般是舷墙门和跳板的意思，
人行步桥有专门的词catwalk.

这里gangway就是甲板上的人行通道，也可是专门搭的步桥。

因为高速透气阀出自化学品船，一般其主甲板下肋骨上翻不便行走，会搭专门的人行通道，就是gangway。

有多种解释，在不同地方不一样，可以指舷梯，也可以是上层建筑上各层间的在外面的楼梯，或是为方便行走在甲板上搭建的像桥一样的通道，如7楼所说。

支持。补充：
静心读一下，就是表达了这么个意思：如果过桥离OUTLET太近（4M以内）。那么这种OUTLET要求高于前后过桥6M，等等一系列限制。。。（这个前后并不是指船的前后，而是以OUTLET为参考对象，要注意OUTLET的前后左右有没有过桥或者是别的人行通道，4m内有的话，需按要求设计制作）
