The bow thruster electric motor is calculated for S2-30 min duty. The motor to be supplied through transformer 3 x 440 / 3 x 3300 V. Bow thruster starter to be of transformer type. Running lamps and overload alarm to be provided in ECR console, in bridge console and in bridge-wings consoles. A-meter to be arranged in MSB and in bridge consoles. The motor to be of IP23 protection, equipped with stand-still heater and temperature sensors in stator windings. The bow thruster propeller pitch control – in electric principle. Remote control lever of pp to be fitted in bridge console and bridge wings consoles.

S2 短时工作制：在恒定负载下按给定的时间运行，该时间不足以达到热稳定，随之即断能停转足够时间，使电机再度冷却到与冷却介质温度之差在2K以内。

艏侧推,大多数是S1工作制,很少用S2工作制,再一个电机的防护等级一般要求达到IP56,你的IP23等级很低,不知你选用的设备厂是哪一家,在驾驶室两翼操作符合SOLAS中的规范规定.

货船一般都是用S2-30工作制的，但是也有极个别船东会要求S2-60工作制。至于S1工作制，一般都是用在工程船，供应船上，这些船舶基本上都有动态定位系统，并有DP船级符号。电动机的防护等级一般都是IP23，这是符合所有船级社规范的，但是也有一些船东会要求IP44,IP54和IP55，不过都是技术部门提出来的，因为他们从来都不会去考虑要花多少钱。至于你说的IP56，我还没听说过，也许你是世界首富，钱有的是。
