单双航行信号灯的使用依据

在1972国际海上避碰规则中,我好象只看到了对信号设备的配置要求,但并没有对使用单双层信号灯的要求描述,希望各位大大能告诉我航行信号灯单双层的选择依据...

Rule 29
Pilot Vessels
(a) A vessel engaged on pilotage duty shall exhibit:
(i) at or near the masthead, two all-round lights in a vertical line, the upper being white and the lower red;
(ii) when underway, in addition, sidelight and a sternlight;
(iii) when at anchor, in addition to the lights prescribed in subparagraph (i), the light, lights or shape prescribed in Rule 30 for vessels at anchor.
(b) A pilot vessel when not engaged on pilotage duty shall exhibit the lights or shapes prescribed for a similar vessel of her length.

这是根据船旗国的要求。
有的船旗国要求所有的信号灯在船上有备品。而双层信号灯可以作为满足这一要求。(正常使用和备品)
当然这样的代替必须得到当局认可。

国内航行船舶---
《法规》第4篇第8章：500GT及以上船舶的航行灯应配有双套灯具。
国际航行船舶---
MSC 253（83）--航行灯、航行灯控制器和相关设备制定性能标准:4.1.3 安装在船长不小于50m 的船舶上的桅灯、舷灯和尾灯应为双套或安装两盏灯。
