Flush manholes are of two types: one to be applied in outer decks and BHD with a cover thickness of 18mm and one with an extra thick cover of 26mm to be applied in the tank top.

平置人孔分两种，一个用于露天甲板和舱壁，厚度18mm，另一种是非常厚的26mm用于内底,
不知道是不是这个意思

因为用于内底板的要考虑防水防油满足密性要求，所以要有围板。
用于舱壁上的没有一般只要满足密性要求，防水防油的考虑，不需要有围板。但是很少看到有板厚那么厚的人孔盖。根据我国的标准CB/T 19-2001 一般最多才14个厚！
