The Drillers Control Cabin
& DES Switchboard Room will be mechanically insulated from the main structure/modules on the drilling module by means of a continuous vibration damper (i.e. sylomer) under the structure of the Cabin & DES Switchboard Room together with a special seal around all interfaces towards the Cabin. This will reduce the vibrations/structural noise caused by the drilling machinery/equipment.
