3.1 ACC Notation
Where, in lieu of manning the propulsion machinery space locally, it is intended to monitor it and to
control and monitor the propulsion and auxiliary machinery from a continuously manned centralized control
station, the provisions of Section 4-9-3 are to be complied with. And upon verification of compliance, the
class notation ACC will be assigned.
3.3 ACCU Notation
Where it is intended that propulsion machinery space be periodically unmanned and that propulsion
machinery be controlled primarily from the navigation bridge, the provisions of Section 4-9-4 are to be
complied with. And upon verification of compliance, the class notation ACCU will be assigned. |
