一. INSPECTION BEFORE THE STARTING 起动前检查
1. Measure insulation resistance (cold condition) of the electrical box & motor of turning gear.
测量盘车机的控制箱和电机的冷态绝缘
2. Check the reliability of interlock device for turning gear, the main engine can not be started when the turning gear is engaging.
检查盘车机的连锁装置
3. Turning gear functional test for 15 minutes and record rotation speed, working current and voltage. After test, insulation resistance measured to be not more than 1M.
运转盘车机15分钟,记录其转速、工作电流和电压。停止运转,测其电阻应不超过1兆欧。
4. Check L.O. level of sump, governor and turbocharger.
检查LO循环舱、调速器及增压器的油位。
5. Run the auxiliary machinery, systems served for M/E and shafting for about half an hour before the test of M/E , check their reliability, Record operation time, working pressure of pump , working current, working voltage, insulating resistance of motor , (record the detail data with a chart/table.)
起动主机前运转各辅机设备、各动力系统约半小时,检查其可靠性,并记录其运行时间、泵的工作压力、工作电流及电压、电机绝缘。
6. Check fuel oil system, L.O. system, cooling water system and starting air system according to the relative piping system drawing.
按系统图检查燃油系统、滑油系统、冷却水系统和起动空气系统。
二. TEST OF SAFETY DEVICE 安全保护试验

Run the main engine without load (set the pitch angle=0), main engine should be shut down at following simulation condition:

Cut the connection between the MONITORING & ALARM PANEL C.P.P Control cabinet. At following simulation condition. The alarm should be occurred on the monitoring & alarm panel., and the pitch reduction signal should be put out form the alarm panel , (all setting value to be as pre makers recommendation)
减螺距功能试验
断开监测、报警板间的接线。按下表做模拟试验。报警应在监测、报警板上实现。减螺距的信号从报警板输出。(所有设定值由主机厂推荐)

M/E alarm function should be confirmed by simulative method according to “list of control & instrument for equipment in E/R” and the maker’s specification and according to GL AUT on board test schedules.
主机报警试验可根据自动化表册、厂家资料及GL要求模拟测试。

四. STARTING TEST OF MAIN ENGINE主机起动试验
In case two main air reservoirs are filled with air of 30.0bar, start main engine in cold condition in ECR until M/E can’t be started. Record air pressure and starting time of each starting. The numbers of starting should not be less than 6.
两只空气瓶充至30bar,在集控室冷态起动主机,直至无法起动。记录每次的空气压力和起动时间,起动次数应不少于6次。

五. OPERATING TEST OF C.P.P可调桨试验
1. Change the pitch of C.P.P, from ahead pitch to stern pitch then to ahead pitch Test two times when C.P.P is running.
当CPP转动时,调节螺距,正车-倒车-正车共两次
2. Check the accuracy of pitch indicator in wheel house and ECR , The difference between the actual pitch and the pitch indicated should not be more than ±2.5%(base on the local mechanical pitch indicator of the C.P.P), to be testing during sea trial.
检查驾驶室和集控室的螺距显示,其与就地的机械显示偏差应不超过±2.5%
3. Stable condition testing for propeller blade turning:
Check the blade stable condition at rated velocity of M/E, when the pitch set as 00, the variable of pitch should not be more than ±1.5%.
桨叶稳定性试验:
在主机额定转速、0螺距时检查桨叶稳定性,其偏离设定的0螺距不超过±1.5%.
4. Test the changeover device and the interlock device for above-mentioned system should be reliable.
检查上述设备的转换装置和连锁装置
5. Check the hydraulic system of C.P.P by running The G/B L.O. pump and G/B L.O. standby pump

六. RUNNING TEST OF M/E 主机运转试验
Run main engine without load with main engine F.O. feed pump, main engine booster pump, main engine L.O. pump, main engine H.T.F.C.W pump and M/E L.T.F.C.W. pump etc. about half an hour , the standby pumps as mentioned above should be changed for continuously running test for 15 minutes, observe the running situation of M/E , shafting , auxiliary machinery and stern tube bearing with record.
Test according to the following table:

0负荷运转主机时,运转主机燃油供给泵、主机燃油增压泵、主机滑油泵、主机高温淡水冷却泵和主机低温淡水冷却泵等约半小时。切换至上述各泵的备用泵继续运转15分钟,检查、记录主机、轴系、各辅机设备的运行情况。

八. M/E load test主机负荷试验
During the main engine load test, keep the main engine at he rated velocity. Change the load of main engine by means of changing the propeller pitch.
