These Rules apply to the hull structures of single side skin and double side skin bulk carriers with unrestricted worldwide navigation, having length L of 90 m or above.
The Rule apply to the hull structures of SSS & DSS
BC with unrestricted worldwide navigation, having
length L of 90m or above
Additional Classification Notations
Bulk Carriers, having length L of 150 m or above,
are to be assigned one of the following additional
service features
BC-A: for bulk carriers designed to carry dry bulk cargoes of
cargo density 1,0 t/m3 and above with specified holds empty at
maximum draught in addition to BC-B conditions
BC-B: for bulk carriers designed to carry dry bulk cargoes of
cargo density of 1,0 t/m3 and above with all cargo holds loaded
in addition to BC-C conditions
BC-C: for bulk carriers designed to carry dry bulk cargoes of
cargo density less than 1,0 t/m3 |
