VLCC to FPSO

A VLCC become to a FPSO have three section: early work, general conversion for module, installate top side structure which include module.
First one, the early work for the yard is to demolish the useless structure, piping and mechinery according the OWNER specification guides; The yard must inpect the status of the VLCC with the owner and surveyor according the ABS or DNV (because all most of the offore project class these two classification societies), and also the yard need pay more attention on prepare job for next work, for example open the access on hull is a very important job ; The next in First section is to renew or refurbish the structure, piping and mechinery, especially the begin and end item.

Second section , the convesion. In this section, not only the VLCC conversion time , but also the time for the newbuilding of top side structure and module. Generally, all of conversion in this step will be full serviced for last section, especially for sructure which not only steel , but also the base for other subject, for examlpe, piping which is the key for successfuly convert to a FPSO, painting, decration, mechenical, eletric. There have a VLCC which I have completed the conversion. She's side shell have been converted for riser/lower baconly, spread mooring system; The new upper deck which include the bulkhead and frame and addtional bracket which have about 5000 pcs in tank for topside sutructure. And the fabriction of hundred thousand pipes must be given more attention for project team.

module 就是甲板面上部的生产、动力和机械的上层建筑

是FPSO 不是FDPSO

Module有可能指的是甲板面上的模块吧，好像包括动力、电气或者一些油和水处理的工艺模块吧！
