现代重工接到10亿美元海洋平台订单

Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea on July 16th revealed that it has received a $1bn gas plant order from Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction (ADGAS) of the United Arab Emirates.

Under the agreement, Hyundai will construct a gas plant which can handle 1bn cubic feet gas a day on the Das Island about 170 km north-west of Abu Dhabi.

The plant will be used to transfer the gas produced at the Umm Shaif gas field toward onshore Habshan plant when completed in September 2013. The construction on the facility will begin later this month.

Hyundai said it has won the contract through a fierce competition with global leading companies in Europe including France’s Technip.
