China’s CSSC Chengxi Shipyard has won additional contract for a bulker successfully and is making an aggressive move forward winning newbuilding bulkers.
CSSC Chengxi signed a contract to build one 65,000DWT bulker with Guangzhou Maritime Transport Group on February 26.
The bulker is 199.9m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 18.50m in height with 13.30m in scantling draft.
Meanwhile, on December 7, 2012, the builder inked a contract to build four 39,100DWT bulkers with Singapore’s Swire Shipping with delivery due from the latter half of 2014 to the first half in 2015. Moreover, on 14 of the same month, it won a contract from Ligang Power for three 48,500DWT bulkers which is to be delivered in April, 2014.
