RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Attend production and assembly in order to recognise problems and work out solutions with production, QA and assembly specialists.
•Handle and manage to follow-up on issues and problems, by using the site office reporting system
•Maintain and up-date checking and reporting system to ensure engine status is known at all times (Assembly Report, Engine Status Report, ITP, ECP, etc.)
•Follow up the inspections according ITP list submitted by Licensees at Licensee's workshops and sub - suppliers
•Random quality checks of non ITP points in all production stages and report issues.
•Maintain a good relation with Licensees where quality and manufacturing issues are discussed in a true and open way
• rovide WCH with findings related to manufacturing and assembly matters and deliver information requested by WCH
•Exchange of experience with WCH and other W?rtsil? Site Offices
REQUIREMENT:
-Mechanical engineering
-Marine engineering with sound experience in engine manufacturing, service and/or design
-Degree in Mechanical or Materials engineering (equivalent to B.Sc.)
-Maritime background as seagoing engineer preferably with experience in shipbuilding supervision at shipyard
-Experience in Manufacturing, Quality Control and Assurance of ship propulsion engines
-Familiar with Engineering Codes and technical Specifications (ISO, JIS)

RESPONSIBILTIES:
Assist and give advice to W rtsil Licensing personnel and the client for engine installation and procedures, quality matters and time scheduling.
To ensure that the Shipyards follow our standards and guidelines thoroughly.
Special focus on alignment calculations and alignment work in ship new-buildings
Special focus on torsional vibration calculations and measurements during sea-trials
To communicate the technical subjects between the Shipyard and Wartsila during engine installations and project follow-up
Provide internal and external work reports according to W rtsil standards.
Collect and organise time and expense reports from the team. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.
Supervise the tasks performed by W rtsil employees and subcontractors.
Report executed work according to W rtsil standards.
Create and maintain good human relations at site especially with our licensees
REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical Engineers with good ability/interest and understanding of Torsional Vibration calculation and measurement as well as alignment calculation and alignment performance in ships / training will be provioded
Experienced in engine installation in ships
Experienced in shipyard procedures of great advantage.
Experience with 2 stroke diesel engines of advantage.
Must be able to communicate in English in writing and speaking.
Requirement to understand complex technical specifications in English and transfer the knowledge to Chinese language effectively.

• Check and adjust relevant mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Provide internal and external work reports according to W?rtsil? standards.

• Perform all pre-commissioning and start-up checks.

REQUIREMENT:
Electrical Automation or Mechatronic Engineering
Mechanical Engineers with proven high level of experience in Automation may be considered
Electrical Automation or Mechatronic Engineering
Shipyard or Engine Builder Electrical Automation experience
Marine Diesel engine automation experience.
Experienced in engine automation control systems, commissioning and assembly
Experienced in marine control systems of great advantage.
Experience with 2 stroke diesel engines of advantage.
