| Responsibilities
| Be responsible for product technical and customer support in the Offshore & Marine industry with special focus on DNV Software’s Sesam & Nauticus products.
The position includes customer relation management, technical support, training and daily customer support.
The Sales & Support Engineer will do the software presentation, demonstration and promotion in China marine and offshore markets especially in north China, receive support requested from both existing customers and new prospects. He or she has to response to the issue and help to address the problem quickly in a professional way.
Major daily work also includes provision of telephone and hands-on support following standard procedures; recording issues, actions taken, and results; providing both onsite and public software training course to existing and potential customer.
Work as a team member of Global Technical Support team, cooperating with other team members to support clients globally.
The position reports to head of Software Beijing.

| Qualifications
| We are looking for a self-disciplined person who is service minded in resolving technical issues with good communication skills.
Basic relevant qualifications for the position are:
- Domain knowledge of hydrodynamic and Finite Element analysis for ships and offshore structures
- A Master degree within Navel Architecture and Ocean Engineering or equivalent background.
- At least 2 years working experience in Marine & Offshore industry
- Good communications in both Chinese and English language
- Interests in software application and capacity to self-learning.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
