Position Available - OMT Shanghai Production Engineer with comprehensive knowledge of ship and shipyard productionOdense Maritime Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd experience a continuous increase in the number of assignments within the ship design area, and for that reason we are looking for committed colleagues daring to take on the challenge of international consultancy within the maritime world. You are: ● Naval Architect or Mechanical engineer ● Familiar with shipyard production planning and production management procedure. ● A team player but also capable of solving tasks individually. ● Outgoing and open-minded You have: ● Minimum 5 years relevant experience from shipyard. • Knowing the important parts and elements of a ship. • Experience as shipyard production engineer. • Preferably some ship design experience. • Knowledge about the elementary tools and systems used to manage shipbuilding, such as planning and supply chain management. • Knowledge about shipbuilding production processes, such as cutting, marking, assembling, welding, coating, outfitting and commissioning. ● Experience with AutoCad ● Experience with Microsoft Office Programs ● Good communication skills in English and Chinese is necessary. As part of the company training you may need to work from our Danish Head office for a period of time.
