Specialist Marine Engineer (Shanghai Office)
Mission: The Specialist Marine Engineer assists in and advises during the preparation of a transport and performs studies for the preparation of a Transport and Installation (T&I) project. He, or she, provides “up-to-date” engineering solutions and support to Transport and Project Engineering and initiate in the development and improvement of marine engineering methods, tools and equipment. He or she functions as mentor to guide and develop our Marine Engineers on competence and technical side.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute actively in the quality control within the Marine Engineering Department at Shanghai office · Answer complex enquiries needed for a successful acquisition process or project · Provide engineering advice and support to other disciplines as well as external parties, using industry standard and in-house developed hydrodynamics software · Doing research, sharing this knowledge with colleagues and develop, prepare and maintain engineering tools for future use · Stimulate and contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the business processes within the section
Requirements:
- Higher Professional Education or University Degree (Bachelor or higher) in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture, Offshore Technology or Aerospace Engineering - At least 7 years of relevant working experience, specific knowledge about offshore and ship hydrodynamics - Broad experience with MATLAB, AQWA, Safetrans, WAMIT, MOSES, MCS Flexcom or equivalent - Intercultural awareness - Fluent in English (written and spoken) - Cost-conscious/-minded

Senior Marine Engineer (高级海洋工程师)
Mission:
Performs marine analysis for the installation of the fixed platform and hydrodynamics analysis for the floating offshore structures, performs floatover installation analysis, as well as mooring system design. Field support of various Dockwise onshore and offshore project executions. Provides “up to date” engineering advice and support to Transport and Installation Engineering.

• Assists project managers to perform marine analysis.
• Field support of onshore and offshore operations.

• Offers (un)requested advice to ensure a safe and successful project execution.

Requirements:
Educational Background:
• Bachelor or above degree in naval architecture or offshore engineering.
Professional Knowledge:
• Above 5 years of offshore marine design/analysis work experiences preferred.
• Able to read drawing or sketch and proficiency with MOSES, FLEXCOM, WAMIT is preferred.
• Specific knowledge about offshore and ship hydromechanics.
• Trained in the field of naval architecture and/or offshore engineering.
• Familiar with the codes/standards of DNV; API; Noble Denton.

Transport Engineer (海运工程师)
Mission:
Technical evaluation of transports. Gathering data from various disciplines and sources. Develop a report and send it to the person requiring this information. Providing “up to date” transport engineering advice and support to Projects.
Responsibilities:

• Prepares a transport and having documents for load-out, transport and discharge checked and approved.
• Presents the transportation proposal to client, Support the HMT potential project or T& I project. (not only in country but also overseas project)
Internal & External Customers/Suppliers as well as Third Parties:
• Provides transport engineering advice and support to other disciplines, using industry standard.
• Discusses with procurement what needs to be purchased for a specific transport.
• Assists in load-out.
• Answers enquiries through collection, analysis and use of all necessary information needed for a successful acquisitions process or project.
• Offers (un)requested advice to ensure a safe and successful project execution.
Innovation and Change:
• Executes feasibility studies and identification of major costs in materials to be used.
• Gives support to contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the business processes within the section.
• Discusses lessons learnt with all disciplines involved and shares this knowledge with colleagues.
• Analyzes processes and working methods and initiating improvements.
• Programming to improve the working tools (software; excel sheet etc.)
People Leadership:
• Is an interface between different disciplines (e.g. client, marine Warranty Surveyor, commercial affairs, contract operations, purchase, project management, fleet supervision, vessels, etc).
• Makes sure that all disciplines are up to speed and information is in line.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
Bachelor or above degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering
Professional Knowledge:
• Specific knowledge about offshore.
• Trained in the field of naval architecture or Offshore.
• Basic knowledge of ship construction, Structure & Marine.
• Preferably: experience with GHS and Shipmo; Rhinoceros; Moses.
Other skills:
