Stability Approval Engineer – Naval Architect - Stability

Approval Ship and Offshore has approximately 350 employees and is one of the corner stones in DNV. We ensure that ships and offshore units are designed according to technical standards making them suitable to sail the seven seas. Being an approval engineer means discussi*** with owners, yards and designers from the early idea of a new concept until the unit is leaving a shipyard ready for a long life at sea.  

The Stability section is resp***ible for class approvals and statutory approvals for new buildings and vessels in operation. In addition we render technical support to our surveyors and customers all over the world within our activities. Our areas of resp***ibility include all types of ships and floating offshore units throughout their lifetime.
We are also technical  resp***ible within stability for DNV globally, including involvement in R&D projects, communication with national authorities and rule development.

The section c***ist of 25 great employees, representing 9 nationalities and with a balanced gender distribution. Our work environment is governed by a good team spirit, high competence, mutual support, and a large variety of tasks.

We are currently looking to strengthen our team and are looking for motivated employees within the discipline stability for ship and floating offshore units.
