Work location: Shanghai
DNV is looking for candidates with experience within naval architecture and structural engineering. The ideal candidates should have experience from offshore or maritime industry with focus on hull structural design or verification. Necessary training will be provided.
Major Duties
Responsible for structural approval work on floating and mobile offshore units including:
• Execute, plan and manage projects
• Co-ordinate and work in integrated multidiscipline project teams
• Take active part in sales and marketing and develop client relations
• Be mobile and go on business trips when needed in order to serve our clients
Qualifications
We need candidates with experience within one or more of the work tasks described below as well as newly qualified candidates with relevant education:
· Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
· Fluent in English oral and writing
· Some Experience within structural design
· M.Sc or similar in Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Maritime engineering
· Basic knowledge from design, load and capacity assessment
· Knowledge of Finite Elements analyses
· General knowledge about Offshore Technologies
