- Use CAD system as a design tool. Customize the CAD application if require toachieve higher productivity in generation of design and production information.
- Perform technical evaluation of installation control and design interfacedocuments of marine equipment to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Building up and document detail design database and norms/standards fordesign improvements.
- Analyze design issue (includes site checking and tests/trials) and providemost effective solution.
Requirements
- Familiar with classification, marine regulatory codes andinternational standards applicable to shipbuilding and repairs/conversions.
- Recognized university degree in one of the following:
-- Shipbuilding/Naval Architecture/Marine Technology
-- Marine/Mechanical Engineering
-- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Must have at least 2-3 years or more relevant post-graduate workingexperience in design work in marine industry (shipbuilding orrepairs/conversions)
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD design/drafting. Computer literate in commonapplication software, e.g., spreadsheets, MathCAD, macro-programming, etc.,will be an advantage
- Knowledge of TRIBON will be an added advantage
Launching Master
- In charge of Launching Process e.g. launchway preparation,operations, recovery, etc.
- Maintenance of launchway equipment
- Equipment set up, develop procedure for Ball Bearing method of launching
- Supervise construction of permanent launchway and highlight criticalconsideration
Requirements:
- min 8 years experience involving launching operations by Ball Bearing Launchway
- Familiar with technical requirement and critical consideration of BallBearing Launching Methods
