Technical Purchaser (Electrical Equipments)

REPORTS TO:
Procurement Director
Responsibilities:
1.
Act as purchasing responsible for electrical equipments (power generation, navigation and communication) for SMC newbuilding projects.
2.
Perform strategic purchasing to make project budget, and follow up on equipment delivery.
3.
Submit weekly report to senior management for status updates regarding each project.
4.
Assist with import formalities of imported goods from Europe to China, closely working with trading house, forwarding company and SMC site project teams in shipyard.
Qualification:
5.
University degree or above with majors in engineering, preferably in marine engineering or naval architect.
6.
Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
7.
Basic knowledge with purchasing/procurement modules in any ERP system
8.
Able to handle multiple tasks at one time, self starter(accountable & can take own initiative), team player
9.
Preferably to have purchasing/sales experiences of electrical equipments in marine sector.
