RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise and support shipyards and engine makers to commission the Diesel Engine mechanical and electrical / electronic control systems to the satisfactory standards of Wartsila.

· Assist and give advice to W?rtsil? Licensing personnel and the client for start-up, test and commissioning procedures, quality matters and time scheduling.

· To ensure that the Shipyards follow our standards and guidelines thoroughly.

· Perform start-ups according to accepted commissioning procedures

· To communicate the technical subjects between the Shipyard and Wartsila during engine starting

· Check and adjust relevant mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

· Provide internal and external work reports according to W?rtsil? standards.

· Collect and organise time and expense reports from the team. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.

· Supervise the tasks performed by W?rtsil? employees and subcontractors.

· Perform all pre-commissioning and start-up checks.

· Report executed work according to W?rtsil? standards.

· Create and maintain good human relations at site especially with our licensees.

REQUIREMENT:

· Electrical Automation or Mechatronic Engineering

· Mechanical Engineers with proven high level of experience in Automation may be considered

· Electrical Automation or Mechatronic Engineering

· Shipyard or Engine Builder Electrical Automation experience

· Marine Diesel engine automation experience.

· Experienced in engine automation control systems, commissioning and assembly

· Experienced in marine control systems of great advantage.

· Experience with 2 stroke diesel engines of advantage.

· Must be able to communicate in English in writing and speaking.

· Required to understand complex technical specifications in English and transfer the knowledge to Chinese language effecitvely.

· Shipyard, Engine maker or Ship Owner experience of advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide local technical support to ship diesel engine and power equipment repair and operation

· Execute assemblying, commissioning and overhauls overhauling of engine

· Evaluate and investigate the damage and design modifications

· Preparation of inspection and service repair reports

· Commissioning and trouble shooting of control system related problems on ship diesel engine and power equpimpent

REQUIREMENTS:

· College or above on Marine Engineering

· Practical experience in ship repair work /engine maintenance

· Competent English in writing and speaking

· Excellent interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills

· Willing to business traveling and flexible working hours

Responsibilities:

· Contact and visit verity customer, promote service item - in-situ machining / grinding / boring / milling / laser alignment and all different type / maker engine & ship equipments.

· Complete own dept all business offer and keep in touch with customers in time, Until job confirmed or cancelled, Make the record on the job file.

· During the job proceeding keep the in touch with the ship owner and operation service engineer to ensure the job proceeding smoothly until job complete.

Requirements:

· Above BSC degree, Majored in Mechnical or Automation

· Willing to business traveling and flexible working hours

· Experience in service sales of engine

· Understanding repair machining procedure

· Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing

· Good negotiation and communication skill

Job description

Sales engineering is Wartsila's core technical support and lead quotation during project sales phase, functionalize key interface between customer need and final Wrtsil solution. By providing professional support to Sales as well as segments force to jointly contribute to Wartsila sales target and realization of market strategy.

Responsibility

· Provide customer specific solutions(technically and commercially), Generate offer and specifications according to requirements of Sales project /bidding project.

· Perform technical assistance to Sales Manager and customers, participate specification negotiation

· Make cost calculation , provide right cost structure for supporting commercial and contract negotiation

· Participate relevant project sales review meetings and prepare the documents

· Maintain and develop knowledge of segment specific solutions and needs

· Coordinate internally for different issues, e.g. process handling issues, price/cost issues, departments cooperation issues,

· Continuously follow up key projects/hot projects status and provide all the supports timely and effectively.

· Coordinate in different departments and sub suppliers, optimize/balance offer between technical solutions and sales price

· Share work load with other SEs whenever/wherever needed

· Translate market demands into product development proposals or concept design modifications

· Suggest improvements to sales-/quotation tools and procedures

Required qualification

Professional skill/knowledge

· Technical degree: M.Sc. / B.Sc. , possibly from Mechanical/El. Engineering or equivalent

· At least 3 years working experience with Marine industry background , have experience in use of vessel equipment/system, or project manager/ engineer , or ship system designer

· Have a good understanding of propulsion system equipments

· Basic bid competence

· Understand marine industry development worldwide and the customers' business environment.

· Be able to grasp sales tool e.g. QMS, CRM within short term(2~3months).

Generally

· Good communication and cooperative skill which could freely handle among different people and companies

· Excellent English both in writing and speaking

· High self Initiative working attitude , be enthusiastic in daily work and perform good under pressure

· have basic negotiation knowledge and skill as well as presentation skill.

· Good organizing ability, be able to handle complex offering project

· Know /understand different culture and perform properly at facing worldwide people.

· Be able to travel domestically or globally by self.

· Good at using office software
