My dear friend, it is not the ship dives itself but she could support the experienced and qualified divers to diving to deep water for working,by the ship's special facilities and ship's function.
So, go ahead to think about:

1. what facilities are necessary for deep sea diving?
2. when a ship is floating at sea, it will drift by the effect of wind force and current.Then how could a ship support their diver worker underwater?
3. when the diver comes back onboard from the sea, what is immediately required to handle for his safety of life?
