Persian Gulf (Jan. 2, 2006) - A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the "Rawhides" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Four Zero (VRC-40) moves into launching position during pre-flight operations aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Roosevelt and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are underway on a regularly scheduled deployment conducting maritime security operations.
