They are about 43 jetfoil boat in the world.

Please be noted that jetfoil is different with hydrofoil.

You are right, Lingding Ocean is in the area of busy HK-Macau route. I hope you would not confuse "jetfoil" type with CA**ARAN type passenger boat. There are also many CA**ARAN type passenger boats running in HK-Macau route.
They are different type of boats.

船体与水面接触小了，摩擦力就小了，船就快了，不过这一定需要足够大的动力，才能使船体离开水面~
