Responsibilities:

Checking that steel work is performed according to rules, specifications and common practice regarding surface preparation for painting. Specific attention to be paid to the
repair of welding defects, flatness rectification, smoothing and outfitting

Checking that conditions are suitable for painting as far as surface preparation, cleanliness and weather are concerned – Dry docking follow up including tank inspection
·
Verification, in conjunction with the paint manufacturer's inspector of surface preparations, film thickness and method of application
·
Daily progress reports: the surveyor shall report to the Owner’s site manager. Thickness gauge equipment and Dew meter if necessary will be provided by the Owner’s Site Manager
University degree, Shipbuilding machinery, engineering and workshop experience as a seaman are preferred
At least 5 years experience
NACE 2 or FROSIO3 is a must
Capable of understanding related drawings and written material
Knowledge of automation systems, testing and commissioning
Able to efficiently complete tasks without help from others
A high level of responsibility and attention to detail
Willing to work under pressure
Follow up the electrical installation of cables trays including checking the cable layout.
Installation of electrical equipment
University degree. Experience as an onboard electrician or have shipbuilding experience.
At least 5 years experience
Knowledge of automation systems, testing and commissioning and reporting
Capable of understanding related drawings and written material
Able to efficiently complete tasks without help from others
A high level of responsibility and attention to detail
Good command of English is preferred
Willing to work under pressure
