空气管关闭装置一般是用来防止水进入空气管路中的，一般为自动关闭装置，
船级社规范规定：
Satisfactory applicances which are permanently attached are to be provided for closing the openings of air pipes in order to prevent the free entry of water into the spaces concerned, except for pipes of tanks fitted with cross-flooding connections.
