BV NR646 TENTATIVE RULES FOR STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT OF STEEL SHIPS 2021-10

These Rules address requirements for structural assessment of: passenger ships; ro-ro passenger ships; ro-ro cargo ships and car carriers; fishing vessels; livestock carriers; general cargo ships; ore carriers; tankers; non-CSR oil tankers; FLS tankers; chemical tankers; and liquefied gas carriers, as an alternative to NR467 Rules for Steel Ships and may be used for exploratory assessment of other type of ships.
NR646 may be applied for classification purpose on a voluntary basis in lieu of the applicable edition of NR467 after agreement with the Society.
