Honghua Group Ltd.,which is registered in the Cayman Islands, manufactures drilling rigs, drilling parts and components, and offers drilling-related training as well as after-sales support services to the customers. Honghua Group Ltd. mainly do its business through its affiliate companies. As the principal affiliate company of Honghua Group Ltd., Sichuan Honghua Petroleum Equipment Co.,Ltd. was established in 1997, being located at Guanghan City--the birthplace of Ancient Shu Culture (Sanxingdui Culture) of China and the hometown of giant panda, Sichuan Province,P.R. China .Honghua Group is a listed company at Hongkong exchange (0196.HK) . According to “The Global Land Drilling Rig Manufacturing Market” published by Spears & Associates Inc. in June 2007, we are the second largest land rig manufacturer in the world in terms of revenue and sales volume. The sales of Honghua in 2008 is about $650,000,000.
Honghua Group will invest 2 billion yuan RMB to build a manufacturing base of offshore petroleum equipment on the eastern coast of China. The project’s construction period will be three years. When completed, its annual production value is predicted to be $1.5 billion to $2 billion (U.S. dollars). Estimates are that it will take five years to achieve the scale of production and recover the investment.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years' management experience in a petroleum equipment or large-scale shipbuilding corporation (executive management experience preferred)
2. Proven ability in the areas of macro-insight, data analysis, logic reasoning, and innovation
3. Strong leadership and decision-making skills in managerial environment, including ability to define problems, develop solutions, set priorities, monitor progress, and achieve measurable results
4. Good interpersonal skills, including team-building and employee motivation
5. Proven competence in oral and written communication
6. Strong ability to handle public relations, with attention to enhancing corporate image and increasing market share
7. Fluent in both English and Chinese
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the President in constructing and managing Honghua’s offshore petroleum equipment base and in building and improving its enterprise structure and human resources system to ensure that the project will be achieved successfully
2. Assist the President in the overall management of day-to-day operations of the base
3. Master-mind the exploitation of the offshore petroleum equipment market.
