In 1969, I had calculated and set a procedure/program for lifting test carried out to the SWL 165- ton heavy derrick of M/V "You Hao", an ocean-going cargo ship of COSCO GUANGZHOU. The testing load was 181.5 T.

Now, when I have retired, I think the calculation about stability and program should be done by the technical department of COSCO and the shipyard, and not by me. I was at a position of surveyor at that time.

Fortunately, no accident was happened. The testing was successful.

As to your asking sentence, I would suggest you to read it as:

"So now you work as a surveyor or an owner or a boss of a shipyard. Master."
Please understand the difference between "the" and "a".
Also,what did you mean by "Master" there? Were you were asking where I am a captain?

"Master" and "Captain" are also different in use.
