Ship Design - NavalArchitect – General Designer
Odense Maritime Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd experiencea continuous increase in the number of assignments within the ship design area,and for that reason we are looking for committed colleagues daring to take onthe challenge of international consultancy within the maritime world.
You are:
● Naval Architectwith University Degree M.Sc or B.Sc
● Familiarwith major companies in the Marine Business and with strong professionalnetwork
YourProfessional requests
● Minimum 8 yearsrelevant experience from design house, class, shipyard or similar
● Competentknowledge of Class Rules and International Regulations
● Solid experiencewith Ship General Design such as ship main characteristics, preliminary hulllines,
propulsion power estimation,GA and SPEC etc.
● Experience with Container Vessel Develop and Design is required.
● Experience withAutoCad
● Experience withMicrosoft Office Programs
● Understandclients’ needs and requirements
● Good communication skills in English

Odense Maritime Technology (OMT) was founded in 2010 as a spin-off fromOdense Steel Shipyard. Today we employ more than 150 people in ship design,production technique, consultancy services and project management. The wholeworld is our market. OMT’s unique strength is based on our technologicalexpertise and experience as well as the high-tech design tools we have at ourdisposal within ship design and building, enabling OMT to impact thedevelopment of new products for ship designs, retrofit of ships, layout ofshipyards and production technology. OMT’s team consists of highly qualifiednaval architects, mechanical engineers, project managers and consultants.
