The Chinese Navy's submarine fleet has continued to develop in recent years. The army has worked out new strategies, including attacking from a long distance,laying mines, submarine-to-submarine attacks, and attacking vessels at sea.
The submarine fleet has also successfully accomplished several scientific trials and joint military drills with the marine corps and air force.
The successful launch of the Ballistic Missile by Nuclear Submarine means China is capable of undertaking a nuclear counterattack at sea. It also symbolizes the Chinese Navy's achievement over the past fifty years.
