Management of vendor base for assigned commodities Implement sourcing strategies to support corporate and divisional objections, providing our client a competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies, and services Control commodity purchase price variances Establish and manage cost saving goals for assigned commodities Coordinate organizational demands with vendors; monitor and evaluate vendor performance Generate various reports related to assigned commodities Maintain database accuracy
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (material shaping & control preferred) Minimum 7 years relevant working experience Professional skills of collaborative team working, project planning and management, communication Strong statistical and analytical/comparative abilities Working knowledge of computers and proficient with PC software
