1. Initiate possible new or improve existing product concept opportunities 2. Participation in technical forums with a view to inform, influence and create business opportunities 3. Identifying new maritime rules and regulations for new product concept opportunities 4. Developing of agreed new product concepts. 5. Planning and performing necessary product and system tests needed for maritime acceptance. 6. Obtaining relevant maritime approvals for new developed product concepts. 7. Commercialising the product concepts and hand-over to product management.
1. Knowledge of products and systems used within the international maritime market. 2. Formal education in engineering degree, naval engineering degree (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education). 3. Good command over the English language, oral as well as written. 4. Minimum of 3 years experience within Wilhelmsen or a similar maritime organisation. Strong, structured personality. 5.
