Position: Product Manager(Shipbuilding)
Responsibilities:
Work with all product stakeholders to define customer problems and translate them into product direction
Play a leadership role to ensure that products are intuitive, easy to use, and functionally on-target
Interact closely with the development team utilizing agile and iterative development techniques
Support partner relationships by providing technical and business insight into partner selection
Work with sales and services to drive new business and ensure the satisfaction of existing customers.
Create and deliver presentations to customers at corporate visits, conferences, user group meetings, etc.
Requirements:
Experience of software product management, or equivalent work-related experience
Industry experience in the Shipbuilding CAD/PDM/PLM/ECM
A bachelor’s degree is highly desirable (Naval Architect or engineering preferred).
Excellent communication and customer relation skills, along with a proven track record working with customers
Ability to work with all levels of an organization ranging from executive leadership to junior team members.
Experience with any combination of the following PTC solutions is desired:
CADDS 5 or CADDS 4X
Optegra/EPD.Connect
Windchill
Arbortext / IsoDraw
Experience with any of the following 3rd party solutions is a plus:
Tribon
Foran
NAPA
UGS: NX, Teamcenter,
Dassault: CATIA 4 and or 5
AutoDesk: AutoCAD, Inventor, Streamline
A desire and passion to create innovative new products and be part of a winning team
