Job Overview

Assessthe design aspects of engineering assets, using procedures, experience andknowledge appropriate for the design appraisal of plans for electrical- andcontrol engineering systems for new build- and existing vessels, Type Approvaland other installations intended for marine applications for complex/demandingsituations.

The focus will be to provide electrical-and control engineering specialist knowledge to deliver an effective commercialfocussed service and support, assessing complex problems and providing expertisesolutions for external clients and supporting internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

· You will have the responsibility toappraise documentation of electrical- and control engineering systems submittedfor approval in accordance with appropriate Register Rules & Regulations,Statutory Regulations and International Standards

· Act as Pre-Site Project Manager forthe DSO for new-buildings

· Provide mentorship / guidance to DSOsurveyors in electro-technical systems plan appraisal

· Provide technical advice / guidance toDSO staff, LR field surveyors and clients on matters relating to requirementsin areas of technical expertise

· You are expected to build and maintaina good relationship with our clients and internal stakeholders

Job Requirements

· Good communication skills, fluent inEnglish

· Bachelor or Master degree in Marine ElectricalEngineering, Control/Automation Engineering or equivalent

· Demonstrated thorough knowledge ofIndustrial electrical and control components

· Strong critical and analytical skills;able to operate well in situations where information may be unclear but sounddecisions are required

· Commercially aware and able to manageprojects within time and budget constraints.

· At least ten years of experience withdetail designs of Power Generation, Power Distribution, Control, Alarm and SafetySystems and Navigation Arrangements

· Knowledge of Electric Propulsion,Dynamic Positioning or Risk Assessment techniques is preferred

· Able to work in a team as well asindependently

职位是偏重在审图方面哦~~

职位的重点要求是：在电气控制方面有10年或以上详细设计经验的，比如：power generation, power distribution, control....等等
