Safety System

The LNG production facility will be equipped with a complete Distributed Control System (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESDS) to protect the plant in case of operational interruptions. These systems will be state of the art detection and shutdown systems capable of quickly and  efficiently  alarming  and shutting down individual systems as well as the overall facility in case of an emergency.   This system will be a redundant control and protection system with backup power to safely handle operational and emergency situations. The plant will be designed to safely shutdown in case of a power failure or other interruption of operations.

Fire and gas detection systems throughout the facility will be installed to warn of any problems and provide alarm and shutdown capabilities. A complete relief system will be included to protect the plant components from overpressure and other emergency situations. This relief system will be attached to an on-site flare stack, described below, to safely dispose of any gases which might be released during an event.
