The hose reel station consist of one skid frame containing one hose reel unit for each hose and
a hydraulic power unit.
Each hose reel unit consists of:
Hosereel foundation
Hosereel
Vertically mounted slewing bearing.
Hosereel drive machinery (gear, brake and hydraulic motor)
Swivel
Loading hose
The HPU consists of:
Hydraulic oil tank with low level switch.
Hydraulic pump with electric motor drive.
Electrical start/stop panel with emergency stop.
Portable Control Unit with emergency stop.
All equipment are located at the skid frame.
This Hose reel station is designed for bunkering from maximum three (3) hoses at the same time.
However, only one hose reel can be operated (reeled) at the time.
Select the hose reel to be operated at HPU hosereel selection block.
Hoses for liquid bulk.
These hoses are permanently connected to their re spectively platform/vessel storage tank
pipelines through a swivel system. It may be necessary to open the block valve for these systems
(Follow the platform regulations) before the loading operation takes place (Block valves are not a
part of the HRS).
Hoses for dry bulk
These hoses must be completely reeled out and located in loading position before the short
flexible hoses from the dry bulk system is connected to the loading hose located in the middle of
the drum. These hoses must be connected to their respectively platform storage tank pipelines
via short, flexible, hoses and the block valve for these systems (Follow the platform regulations)
must also be opened before the bunkering operation takes place (Block valves are not a part of
the HRS.
