Deputy General Manager of Afloat Repair

General Manager of Marine Services
Position Purpose:
·
Manage the Afloat Repair sections in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Qingdao as well as expansion to future locations.
·
Full responsibility for regional Afloat Repair Profit and Loss
·
Maintain good relationship with group and local customers.
·
Carry out assigned projects independently
General Areas of Responsibilities:
·
Ensure strict compliance with applicable work instructions
·
Cost control
·
Ensure efficient and cost effective coordination of afloat repair between all locations
·
Recruitment, morale and retention within afloat repair
·
Quality control within Afloat Repair
Specific Areas of Responsibilities:
·
Tracking and improvement of Key Performance Indicators
·
Quote out works to customers within own authority limit
·
Co-ordinate with other business units for timely deployment of work
·
Entertain and maintain good relationship with Afloat Repair customers.
·
Budgeting and execution of capital expenditure within Afloat Repair.
·
Training and Mentoring of Hong Kong and Mainland China Afloat Repair Managers and Superintendents
·
Perform project works as assigned.

Specific Requirements for the Position具体任职要求:

Secondary school or above or equivalent education level.
·
Min. 12 years working experience in ship repair.
·
Ability to speak & write in English and Mandarin (Cantonese would be helpful).
