Position: Leader Engineer- Outfitting
Report to: GM
Professionalexperience: l Minimum 7 years of experience from the field ofmarine and/or offshore industries, preferably in international projects withmulticultural needs.l Strong troubleshooting skills in technical issues anda good ability of technical support for project management and sales activitiesin the target markets. l Good skills in team working, presenting technicalissues and negotiating with Foreign and Chinese customers.l Good ability to maintain and develop a long termrelationship with our customers.l A wide contact network to yard, design partner andowner/operator clients as well as class societies in China are beneficial.l Good knowledge from outfitting systems, to be able toinspect system drawings, carries out technical discussions with yard, owner, class and authorities.l Good knowledge from basic/detail/production design foroutfittingl Experience from bulk carrier and tanker design(containers)l Experience from Tribon M3 Outfittingl Experience of anchor, mooring, rudder and steeringgear calculationsl Understanding of Chinese casting standardsl Good knowledge of outfitting vendors and theirpractices- especially in Chinal Good knowledge of life-saving appliance vendors andtheir practices – especially in Chinal Good knowledgeof Microsoft Office softwares, MS Project, Autocad
