Regional Sales Manager Sesam - DNV Software
DNV Software is a commercial software house within DNV serving more than 3000 customers all over the world from our offices in 9 countries. We are market leader in software development for design, strength assessment, risk analysis, asset life cycle management and knowledge-based engineering. With a dedicated staff of more than 300 employees, we develop state of the art software products for the maritime, offshore and process industries as well as tailor made soluti*** for individual customers.
The Regional Sales Manager is resp***ible for sales activities in North, Central and Eastern Europe.
Sesam is a well-known solution in the Maritime and Offshore industry and has a huge market size. DNV Software has over the past years seen a huge increase in new clients and increased our market share.
Our team of highly skilled sales executives can provide our customers the full spectrum of products and services offered by DNV Software. Due to the high activity level in the market we are looking for a new member to join us, to further develop market opportunities in the region.
The Regional Sales Manager will be part of our sales team towards the offshore and maritime industry and the successful applicant will take resp***ibility for selling Sesam & Nauticus software products and soluti*** to the market in North, Central and Eastern Europe.
The position reports to Region Director. Tasks- Key account management
- Software presentation, dem***tration and promotion
- Sales and after sales activities
- Follow up of new and existing customers and grow effective relati***hip with customers
- Be our "specialist" on some of the products and soluti*** in our portfolio.
- Establish and execute sales plan and ensure to achieve sales target
- We work in close cooperation with the local DNV offices and building relati***hips both internally and to external clients is essential.
Qualificati***- Relevant experience can compensate for higher education
- Technical knowledge and experience in hydrodynamic, finite element analysis for ships & offshore structures and strength assessment tools or equivalent
- Good command of both English and Norwegian language
- A Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent.
LanguagePersonal qualities- Good understanding of the industries we are serving and the ability to pursue new opportunities
- Result orientation and commercial mindset
- Market oriented, passionate, self-disciplined and driven to succeed
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
