都是简单的词但是放在句子中一联系前后就不好处理了

optin 是option的笔误。
局部选项限制着被更新的曲线改变为2个延伸单位长度，默认值为4个延伸单位长度。
上面SPAN理解为从某点延伸到另一点的距离，或称为“跨”。

to insert A point after a selected point
在某一被选点之后，插入点A。
这里AFTER是介词，理解为“在......之后”。
