Sales Manager (Shipbuilding, Offshore Oil & Gas)

Shanghai, China Education:
l
High technical education in naval, structural, marine and/or mechanical and/or electrical and automation engineering. l
Design and engineering project management skills are beneficial Language: Fluent oral and written skills in Chinese and English l
Responsibilities: l
Responsible for Marine and Offshore Sales in China, reporting to GM. l
Responsible for planning and coordination of Sales actions in China. l
Follow-up and reporting of Sales and Expense Budget. l
Responsible for localization modifications in marketing and sales message/material. l
Annual M&S plan and schedule for the main customer events (assisted by HQ). l
To prepare and report to HQ on the progress of leads, prospects, inquiries, offers and orders. l
To prepare/coordinate/follow up all offers for the Chinese Market. l
Responsible for wide customer network of Yards, Owners and Brokers mainly in China. l
To establish and control the M&S budget in China and usage of necessary sales support personnel. l
To assist in commercial contracts / change orders / invoices to be sent to Clients. l
Responsible for carrying out sales actions given by the HQ. l
Responsible for competitors analysis, market follow-up. l
Responsible for participating/presenting in marine and offshore exhibitions, seminars and conferences in China. l
Participating in Yard visits and negotiations with potential Local/Foreign Owners in China
Professional experience: l
Professional experience: at least 10 years experience within Shipbuilding and Offshore industry, l
Relevant experience in shipyard is needed l
Wide contact network to yard, broker and owner/operator clients as well as class societies in China is required. l
Fluent usage of MS Office software, Outlook and CRM required. l
Good ability of commercial support for project management in the target markets. l
Good skills in team working, presenting marketing and sales issues and negotiating with Foreign and Chinese customers. l
