"Ullage" refers to the unfilled air space inside the top part of a cargo oil tank or an oil tank, which in this case is essential to allow for expansion of the contents as the temperature changes.

舱容表是建立在液货舱和舱口上边缘或者其他决定性的水平面的损耗的基础上，和侧深表相反。

气隙（损耗）指货油舱或者油舱上部的未充满的空气的空间，对允许温度变化引起的膨胀很重要
