Responsibilities:
•- Provide the technical support for customers, and assist Sales Engineer to handle technical issues to satisfy customers needs;
•- Conduct technical training and seminars for customers and SKF colleagues;
•- Communicate with product development department and plants according to customers' application requirements, develop value-added bearings or units to meet customers' requirements;
•- Provide the information of technical development guidance of design/ research institutes and end users' needs to sales engineers, to extend bearings and units sales;
•- Communicate with specialists of SKF group on application field, product development, global customers' information and latest technical development trend in order to provide better guidance to customers.
Requirements,
•- Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
•- At least 2 years experience in Application Engineering in a multinational company;
•- Knowledge of machine design and application;
•- Bearing knowledge required;
•- Good planning, coordination and problem solving skills;
•- Business acumen and is customer oriented;
•- Fluent English speaking and writing.
Manager– Marine / Oil & Gas Segment Sales, Industrial Division
Position: MANAGER - Marine / Oil & Gas Segment Sales
Team: Strategic Sales - ID OEM

Reporting: Head of Strategic Sales, ID OEM Sales China
The role
To develop the Marine / Oil & Gas Segments across within ID Sales China and to proactively handle larger customers and to run customer projects as well as give commercial & technical support to other account managers.
Responsibilities
SALES & PROFITABILITY DEVELOPMENT
· To initiate & drive develop new business and new customers and has to build strong customer relationship and align with the Global Segment Manager in order to achieve short term (BP) targets as well as long term strategic growth targets for the China OEM Marine / Oil & Gas Segments.
· Manager will have sales responsibility
TECHNICAL & COMMERCIAL SUPPORT
· To collect the latest information about offers from the Marine / Oil & Gas Segments both and to be in close contact with both Product Divisions & Account Managers globally.
· To support & transfer knowledge to the Sales team about the offer through presentations, trainings, workshops, electronic media etc.
· To know the market, competition and the value of the SKF offers and give guidelines to Sales with regard to pricing.
· To support other Sales resources in solving issues related to the offer such as technical, delivery, quality etc.
PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
· To manage the overall project portfolio for the ID Sales China Marine / Oil & Gas Segments. To set priorities and manage project selection. To initiate and run customer specific projects.
Competencies
· A proven track record, demonstrating a good level of commercial understanding and a technical ability, is an essential requirement for this role.
· Relative industries experience will be a positive plus.
· Degree in mechanical engineering, but not a must.
· Willing to travel
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Good knowledge in English
