Location: Shanghai
Position: Experienced commissioning engineer (Electrical/hydraulic/structure)
Foreign owned and managed company with widespread international presence and offices in Italy and Europe and USA, China, Japan and Singapore is looking for an experienced naval engineer for its Shanghai office to support China business expansion and current projects management.

The position will cover sales and marketing activities and technical support and activities on board.
Job description
- Support sales and marketing activities and company promotion with regards to technical aspects
- Technical discussion and support to commercial negotiation
- Prepare and write technical bid proposals
- Communicate and liaise between company head office, ship owners, shipyards and ship design institutes (SDARI, MARIC etc..)
- Provide technical support activities on board for commissioning, inspections, guarantee calls for company equipment and systems (CAE Cargo Access Equipment, VRCS Valve Remote Control System etc.)
- Translation of technical documents
Requirements:
- Be competent and experienced in one or more of the following department: electric/electronic systems, hydraulic and structure in the naval-shipping sector
- Candidates must be native Chinese but have a good grasp of English spoken and written.
- Must be computer literate, with good knowledge of MS-Office and other technical software packages.

- Be pro-active, professional, business oriented, good problem solving 
abilities.

- Candidate should be available for travel throughout China and abroad as 
this position will include visits to clients and customers for discussions and negotiation, and training in company Head office.
