Marine Diesel 32/40 Engines The engines are designed for:
    Operating as the component of the diesel-reduction unit as main marine Diesel engine and also as main and auxiliary diesel-generators on sea-going, river and fishing vessels in accordance with the requirements of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping;
High economical efficiency of the engines is assured by the following:
    - constant pressure turbo-supercharging;
    - optimized system of fuel injection;
    - high compression ratio and maximum combustion pressure;
    - use of two camshafts for the possibility of separate setting of gas distribution phases and instant of fuel supply.
High ecological characteristics are ensured by the controlled start of fuel injection and optimization of the firing point by turning of the camshaft, which allows:
    - to adapt the engine to run at different fuel grades in order to provide for minimum consumption;
    - to reduce the NOx content by delaying the injection;
    - to improve the engine operation on partial loads.
The engine can also operate on heavy fuel grades with viscosity of up to 700cst at 50°C.
The reliability of the engine operation is assured by its design, materials applied for manufacture of the main parts and the production technology.
The engine may be supplied with the turbocharger on the front or rear end of the engine at the request of the customer.
