One Set of engine room dead man alarm system shall be provided
Each 1 – System start switch at engine control room and engine control room
entrance
Each 1 – reset button at port and starboard side on each engine room level.
Engine room deadman alarm shall be activated and extended to the wheelhouse
at no reset within 5 minutes (adjustable) after warning alarm reset.
For pre-alarm any rotating light (yellow) on the light signal column shall be
activated at no reset within 30 minutes (adjustable) after the system panel is
ON.
Dead-man alarm shall be activated at no reset with 5 minutes (adjustable) after
pre alarm is activated and extended to the wheelhouse and for dead-man alarm
electric horn on the light signal column shall be also activated.
